Dear Friends... I worry about showing you this because you will then be truly spoiled. This is going to be one hard act to follow. Our very own Pavig Lok (with just a wee bit of assistance) is responsible for this helluva build. Come for a preview soonest! Not sure when it is opening to the public.

Victoriana Castle
Architecture that defies the RL laws of physics, but still looks and feels right... I can't help wondering why more builders don't play with this concept. Victoriana Castle created by Theodore Heyse and Rosenia Mikazuki is just such a place. When you go, be sure to visit the dining room and the cathedral and then zoom way out... see how they are perched? In fact, disable camera constraints and zoom way way out to take a look at the build as a whole.

Gazira Babeli is joining!
I'm thrilled to share with you that the inspiration for this group, Gazira Babeli, the artist responsible for the amazing interactive art at the Odyssey Project right now (and also the subject of this group's first notice) - is joining our little group.

Found: the Doctor's TARDIS
Crafted with Time Lord technology, the TARDIS is, indeed, larger on the inside than it is on the outside. Just pray that it doesn't break down during your visit. Our scouts report that they successfully rematerialized elsewhere. However, if the console is giving you trouble, don't forget that a bit or "percussive maintenance" might give it the necessary jolt.
For those of you not-in-the-know, brush up on your pop culture and visit http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tardis

At the drive-in
So there you are, on a date in-world with your hunny... you are sitting in a convertible muscle car on the beach, watching a dubbed Japanese sci-fi flick.... hmmmm nothing too unreal here, but what's that up there in the sky? TP up there for an out of world experience... not even the astronauts could lay claim to this sorta thing. Yes, it's funky, but fun... and still good for that date, I might add.

Exhibit A - Gazira Babeli - the Odyssey Project
Gazira Babeli - See her coding-meets-the-arts work at the Odyssey Project and allow her to confuse, disturb, and totally crack you up. Take friends. Interact with everything, but be warned... save the chairs on the wall for last unless, of course, you have a twisted sense of humor.

Too much! Too much!
So said Douglas Story in last night's urgent IM, after I'd throttled the group with yet another notecard loaded with simply amazing things to see and do. "You've got to pace yourself, woman!"
"But I must alert the group," I replied. "They have to be among the first to know."
Today, TeeCee Towradgi suggested I toss everything onto a website. And here it is. Thank the Gods of Olympus for templates and wysiwyg!
Beginning today, this will be the archive for our posts. Group members, please contact me in-world if you missed out on receiving one of the freebies. Of course, you could always fetch them the old-fashioned way and just pluck them from group notices. o.O
Yours truly, Bettina Tizzy
